Depression generally refers to a breakdown of mood. If this remains for 2-3 weeks or more then it can lead to mental disorder also. So it is better to workout before it gets one into big trouble. Along with the medicines there are natural ways which can help cure the depression with double effect.
Food: Some foods help cure depression to a great extent. Few of these are dairy products with low fats, soya food, turkeys, banana etc which supports brain with serotonin. Also fresh vegetables and fruits can be very helpful. This leads to the better mood of the person. Few more foods to follow can be fish, tuna, salmon, omega 3 oil, nut oil and purslane etc. There is a great extent of relationship between omega 3 fats and depression. If the body is lacking omega 3 fats there can be depression. Exercise: Regular exercise is one good, natural and healthy way to cure depression. It helps to get completer sleep and increases the energy level. It also helps in staying healthy and the weight also can be controlled and it gives a internal feeling of healthiness and the individual feel improved self esteem. Endorphins in the brain are increased and this also gives a further increase in happiness. Exercises sometimes are as good as the normal therapies are.
