Arjuna belongs to the family named Combretaceae . Flowers are small and are white in color. Fruit is of 2.3–3.5 cm long, is of fibrous wood, is hairless and is having 5 hard wings, is striated along with many curved type of veins. Flowering time of Arjuna is from April to July according to the Indian conditions. Seeds of Aruna are hard and it germinates within 50–76 days and of about 50–60%.
